FAQs

  • The most basic answer is that I only read clean/closed door/fade to black books. So I wouldn't write what I don't read!

A more in depth answer is that my personal faith convictions have led me to write books without explicit scenes. I knew when I set out to publish that I was going to stay a closed door author. At most my books will be fade to black, because that's the highest heat level I'm comfortable writing.

My hope is that people will see you don't need spice to have a beautiful love story with agonizing tension and tons of sizzle!

  • Nope! All my books are interconnected standalones.

However, I would say they are best read in order if you want to see the characters and friendships/family relationships grow over time. Many of my readers are firm believers in starting with The Love Audit, then continuing through to the But He's a Carter Brother series.

I do have so many readers who hop around based on their mood though, and they enjoy that too!

  • I would say yes! Many of my readers love sharing the books with their teenage daughters. My youngest sister is 15, and I love when she reads my books!

  • I tend to recommend readers start with But He's My Grumpy Neighbor if they're looking for something cozy and sweet.

Or I recommend The Golden Goal if they want lots of banter and sports romance!

  • Yes! Many of my books have been recorded and are available on all major audiobook retailers. If you go to my books tab and click on a book you're interested in, you'll see if it has audio or not!
